CSIE is a multidisciplinary center that integrates the concepts of classical physics and engineering with statistical and machine learning methods to developed biomedical devices and wearables. CSIE enables development of an idea from the concept to work-like and look-like prototypes.

One of the main themes of research at CSIE is quantification through novel and old devices and wearables and the concepts of data sicence and machine learning. The figure on the right is a concept schematic of combining several different devices for quantification of movement, balance, and functional exams.

Decision Support (SORG)
Readily available SORG predictive algorthms developed over the past 10 years initially by
the SORG team and now by CSIE.

quantfication of functional exams and balance

exams, diagnosis of implant failure and muscle monitoring.
